Description
===========

This digital typeface is a variable font designed to address the complexities of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder.

The font features three distinct weights, each representing one of these conditions. The design breaks away from traditional gender stereotypes by blending characteristics typically associated with both genders.

The contrast and orientation of the typeface convey a sense of imbalance and disorientation, mirroring the internal struggles of individuals with eating disorders.

The design also features fragile serifs, reflecting societal pressures and unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated by digital media.

Curves and rounded corners humanize the experience of eating disorders, promoting greater understanding and empathy. Inner serifs symbolize the journey towards recovery, symbolizing the pursuit of emotional and physical balance.

The typeface project highlights the expressive and aesthetic potential of typography, challenging the conventional prioritization of legibility over expressiveness.

It aims to aid in the prevention and early identification of eating disorders, raising awareness and understanding, and contributing to the reduction of triggers and potentially life-threatening consequences associated with these disorders.
